Alyssa Ognenovski M.D.

Dr. Alyssa Ognenovski is a board-certified family practice physician who believes in supporting your whole health — body, mind, and lifestyle. After earning her medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada, she went on to complete her residency in Family Medicine at NYU School of Medicine in New York City.

Early in her career, Dr. Alyssa Ognenovski served as Lead Physician and later as Regional Medical Director at a community health clinic in Los Angeles. In those roles, she helped shape and deliver medical services across multiple clinic sites, mentor other providers, and ensure high-quality patient care for underserved populations.

Her clinical interests include sports medicine, preventive care, women’s health, weight management, and the care of chronic illness. Dr. Alyssa Ognenovski’s goal is to partner with her patients in achieving wellness — not just treating illness — through personalized care, health education, and long-term relationships.

Doris Gonzalez, AGPCNP-C

Doris Gonzalez earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington and later completed her Master of Science in Nursing with a concentration in Adult Gerontology Primary Care. She is nationally certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and maintains active licensure in both Texas and New Mexico.

Chiropractor

Aimee Day, DC

Dr. Day has had a passion for the healthcare field since a very young age and has always wanted to be able to help individuals feel their best. She uses the latest chiropractic techniques that provide gentle, effective, and comfortable adjustments to improve the livelihoods of the patients that she helps.

She finds immense gratitude in seeing patients get relief from their pain after an adjustment. Though chronic pain can leave an individual feeling helpless and less independent, Dr. Day is committed to helping her patients so that feeling of hopelessness can diminish and each patient can get back to their regular activities of daily life - with less pain. She is very excited and proud to have the opportunity to improve the lives of the members of the community that she serves at Advanced Spine & Joint.

In Dr. Day's free time she enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants, working out, and spending time with her 3 nephews. She lives in Dallas with her Great Pyrenees, Bentley. Growing up, Dr. Day was active in soccer, weightlifting, and softball. She also danced for 10 years with a love for Pointe and Ballet. She saw a chiropractor frequently and attributed living a pain-free lifestyle to getting adjusted consistently.

Katelyn Sawyer

Katelyn was raised in Wylie, Tx and has worked in the healthcare field for the past 3 years. In her free time she enjoys watching movies, cooking, and playing golf. Katelyn loves to travel and explore new places with friends and family. She has two dogs, Herman and Zeus, who are full of energy and very loving.

Deborah

Deborah was raised in Plano, TX. She has been married to her husband David for 8 years, and together they have a daughter and a son. Despite being married to a New Orleans Saints fan, Deborah remains an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and will never hesitate to argue that Dez caught it! In her free time, Deborah enjoys watching true crime documentaries. traveling with friends, cooking, and spoiling the family's chihuahua, Cajun.

Lindsey

Lindsey was born and raised in Oregon prior to relocating to Texas in 2020. She has been married to her husband since 2014 and they have 2 young boys together and a sweet old lab mix named Eve. She spent a decade in the eye care industry before joining our practice and is continuing her education at Nelson University. In her spare time she enjoys dancing, quilting, playing with her boys, and sharing her love of Jesus.

Isabel 'Izzy' Aiyeojenku

Isabel grew up around the DFW area and is currently in college exploring the medical field. She has been involved in a sports medicine program that focuses on the needs of various athletes. She has a great deal of empathy for patients during their health struggles and is always lending a helping hand where she can. In her free time, she loves exploring new places, and spending time with her family and her two dogs, Lola and Winston.
